To provide you with a seamless booking experience, we collect only the essentials:

• Identity: Name, Gender, and Contact Details.
• Contact: Phone Number and Email Address.
• Location: Pickup and Drop addresses (saved for faster future bookings).

Note: We do NOT collect background data from your device when you are not using our service.

Online First: To prevent fraud and ensure booking security, we primarily accept online payments.

• No Storage: Cabtan does NOT store your Credit/Debit card numbers or UPI PINs.
• Trusted Partners: All payments are processed through RBI-regulated aggregators. We only receive a “Success” or “Failure” status.

For the safety of our customers and drivers, most Cabtan vehicles are equipped with Dashcams.

• Visual Recording: The dashcams record only the exterior front and rear view of the vehicle. There is no video recording of the passengers inside the cabin.
• Audio Recording: Please note that cabin voice is recorded for security and dispute resolution purposes.
• Data Deletion: Footage is strictly temporary. The dashcam re-writes over the previous data every day, meaning old footage is automatically deleted within 24 hours.
• Access Control: Memory cards are sealed within the device. No unauthorized person (including the driver) can access the recordings. We only access footage in the rare case of a reported accident, safety incident, or dispute.

We believe in “Need to Know” privacy. When you book a ride, the driver receives only:

• Your First Name.
• Pickup & Drop Location.
• Cab Category (Classic or Premium).

We do not share your full profile history or sensitive personal details with the driver.

We respect your inbox. Promotional messages via WhatsApp or SMS are sent only for genuine offers.

Opt-Out: Simply reply “STOP” on WhatsApp to be removed from our marketing list immediately.
