Please read these rules carefully. They ensure safety, clarity, and fairness for both you and our drivers.
Service Model Notice: For our Cabtan Classic category, Cabtan Enterprises acts as a cab aggregator, connecting you with verified third-party partners. For our Cabtan Premium category, we own and operate the entire fleet directly to ensure the highest standards of luxury and service.
1. Payment & Transaction Policy
To ensure transparency and prevent fraudulent activity, please adhere to the following:- Online Only: We strictly accept online payments only through our official channels.
- Direct Payments: Any payment made directly to a driver (cash or personal UPI) is not permissible and will not be considered part of the trip fare unless specifically confirmed by the Cabtan office.
- Disputes: Cabtan Enterprises will not be liable for any financial disputes arising from unauthorized payments made to drivers.
2. Luggage & Commercial Goods
To ensure passenger safety and comfort, strictly adhere to these limits:- Cabtan Lite (Sedan): Max 2 Medium Suitcases + Small bags.
- Cabtan Comfort (SUV): Max 3 Big Suitcases + Small bags.
- Cabtan Prime (Innova): Flexible (up to 4 Big Suitcases).
3. Property Damage & Conduct
- Vehicle Damage: In case of any damage caused to the company’s property (specifically the vehicle on duty), the total liability for such damage falls strictly on the customer. Cabtan Enterprises is not responsible for repair costs arising from passenger-inflicted damage.
- Intoxication: Drinking or smoking inside the cab is strictly prohibited by law. If a passenger consumes intoxicants during the ride, the trip will be terminated immediately.
- Soiling Charges: If the car interior is soiled, a minimum Cleaning Fee of Rs. 350 will be charged. Physical damage to vehicle interiors/exteriors will be charged at actual repair cost.
4. Outstation & Driver Allowance
- Driver Allowance: For outstation trips involving an overnight stay, a mandatory Driver Allowance of Rs. 400 per day is applicable.
- Accommodation: The customer is responsible for ensuring the driver has a safe place to rest. If the driver stays overnight, the customer must arrange for the driver’s stay/restroom facilities.
5. Liability & Delays
- Our Fault: If a delay is caused by us (Breakdown, Driver Late), we offer a 100% Refund + Compensation Discount.
- External Factors: We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, natural calamities, or road blocks.
- Consequential Loss: Cabtan is not responsible for missed flights or meetings resulting from unavoidable delays. Please book with a buffer time.
6. AC Usage & Pets
- Air Conditioning: The AC is set to your preference. However, on steep hills or during critical overtaking, the driver may switch off the AC momentarily for engine power and safety.
- Pet Policy: We do not allow pets onboard regular cabs to prevent allergies for future passengers. Pet-friendly vehicles must be requested in advance.
Jurisdiction: Any legal disputes arising out of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Thane, Maharashtra.
